Hull’s is searching for an Emergency Response Foreman who is responsible for supervising field service crews in a safe and compliant manner
according to scope and budget. The Foreman organizes crews, delegates job responsibilities and equipment, and trains and mentors personnel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with Supervisor/Project Manager/Area Manager on the personnel, equipment and materials needed for job
- Manage and operate the equipment used daily on the job site
- Monitor the job site for safety issues daily
- Conduct daily tailgate safety briefings in order to comply with job specific safety policies
- Communicate with the customer and ensure that change orders are approved before additional work is completed
- Responsible for DOT, HAZMAT and Company documentation including daily logs, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, etc.
- Work alongside and oversee crews to identify, remove, load/unload, transport and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects
- Maintain up-to-date DOT, OSHA and company required training
- Must be available for emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of (1) year trade/construction experience
- (3) years environmental services industry experience preferred
- Ability to use and wear Personal Protective Equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel and customers
- Ability to work nights and weekends and to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time
